Gaming Steve Meet-up at Pax East?
« on: March 10, 2010, 06:06:45 pm »
So it seems that a fair number of people are going to be at Pax East in a few weeks. I am planning on being there as well, so perhaps we can have a little meet-up while we're there? I'm not quite sure of the time/place yet as I want to check out the schedule of events, but probably Friday or Saturday night would be a good idea.

So who is planning on attending Pax and would like to meet-up?

I live on the west coast.

Though I think it's pretty convenient they now have a PAX for easterners now. I think LadyM should go.

Sure everyone go to PAX East, nevermind PAX West (huff)

When, where, and what is Pax East, again?

It's the East Coast Version of the Penny Arcade Expo. There's usually a convention floor to play new games and lots of talks and other neat things for us gamey nerds.

Hey, so I think this is a really cool idea, but I was just thinking if we could maybe change a few things about the meeting.

So, how about we forget about the whole Pax East thing... and have the meet-up in Finland!

Everyone agrees with me, yeah? Yeah!

:D

Sounds like a blast! Not sure I'll be able to make it though since I'm just finding out about it now.

I'll totally go to Finland though (for serious).

If I had the time and money I'd totally go to Finland or Wales.  I've been to Wales before, pretty cool place.

I'd love a meet-up, but that's right when all my classes are coming to a head.  Tragically, I won't be able to make it.

But drop by Fan-expo in Toronto one of these days.  I've gone there every year for... 4 years now I think.

I live just a short drive from Boston, 45 minutes to an hour.

Still, as much as I'd like to, I won't be going.

Besides, none of you would want to meet me >_>

I'm here in Boston at PAX East. Steve had to leave early today so we won't get to meet up after all though we exchanged some texts. I'll write more on it later but I have to get back over there. You can read here if you want a small update on what I've seen.

Too bad I can't be there. Not like me showing up would make much difference, though.

I would have loved to go, I only live about 45 minutes away. But I had some other stuff to do over the weekend, and I didn't learn about it until it was too late to get a ticket.

And I wouldn't like running into... you people. >_>
