Like I said, I loved Fallout 3, so I see no reason why I won't love this one.

Haters gonna hate, those who complained about Fallout 3 will complain about this one, even if only because it still uses the same engine.

I liked fallout 3 I never finished but that was because I heard about the ending and didnt see it was worth it. Fallout New Vegas looks to be nothing more than a mission pack sequal.

No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

To be fair the story writing and characters weren't much in FO3. Then again same game different story is what the Mission pack Sequel is all about. I'm not saying I'm going to completely by pass it. I just have a very heavy gaming plate right now and a game I already played isn't going to get too much of a look in.

I'd argue this point, but ignorance thrives of the offended.

Well, this is out. I think its pretty fun so far. I'm trying out hardcore mode but I am afraid it might be more of a nuisance than immersive. Also, the intro was kind of neat and the early perks actually have a cost-rewarded style rather than all good. Also, Wtf is wild wastelands perk?

Wild wasteland perk from what i understand is that you will experience crazy events that often are pop culture references. Fallout 2 where stocked with them but Fallout 3 toned it down. Some people liked these evens others did not so in Fallout NV they will be optional.

Just picked up the special edition and it is great.  I can't play the game yet because I have a midterm I need to deal with first, but I eagerly await getting into it.

The stuff that came with the collectors edition is awesome.  It's simple, but it has so much damn charm.  I get a huge kick out of the fact that the backsides of the deck of cards don't match, instead looking like a collection of cards just found all over the place.

I tried to preorder that but i was just a tad to few days to late. But maybe i get a Collectors Edition anyway. I plan on being early at the store to get my copy of the game and they may have one left. To bad i have to wait until the 22 for my copy.

Nah, it's fixed now via a quick patch.  It was Steam Cloud's fault.
