Sigh... looks like this might be my last summer as no 1 poster (its also my first summer as no 1 poster)

Well, I only had that title one summer, as well. It's not so bad being #4 poster.

I was there for about 3 hours (thanks, Krakow) and now I'm the number 5 or 6 poster.

Maybe it would do everyone some good to watch this video and read the forum guidelines. There has been way too much spamming and pointless topics being made.

It's pretty easy to post constructively.. its not hard at all. Here is the condensed version of the forum rules, please follow them:

Gaming Steve Forum Rules

The Gaming Steve forums are intended to provide a warm, friendly atmosphere for the Gaming Steve community. In order to maintain order and a sense of community, all users should read and follow these conditions. By participating in the forum, users are affirming their willingness to comply with these terms.

RULES OF CONDUCT

    1. Be respectful of others at all times.

    2. Keep it clean.

    3. Stay on topic.

    4. Signature graphics are permitted, but must follow these guidelines:
The size limits for signature graphics are as follows:
    • Maximum height: 120 pixels
    • Maximum width: 700 pixels
    • Maximum file size: 24,000 bytes (not kbytes)
    • No animated signature graphics
Only one image is allowed to be used in the signature. Signatures outside this limit will be edited and/or removed. Please remember, no pornographic, obscene or controversial subject matter of any kind (this includes political commentary). All content must be in good taste.

    5. Ranting is prohibited.

    6. No personal attacks.

    7. Trolling is prohibited.

    8. No posting of personal information.

    9. Immediate banning from the forum can result from any of the following:
The posting of pornography; discriminatory remarks which are sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive; excessive obscene or vulgar language; posts which discuss or illustrate illegal activity; posts or images that violate any laws; posts or images in breach of Non-Disclosure Agreements; providing links to sites that contain any of the aforementioned. Gaming Steve administrators and moderators reserve the right to ban users for any reason and without warning.

    10. Spamming and bumping are prohibited.

    11. Redundant threads and posts will be deleted.

    12. Impersonating another forum user, moderator, volunteer, or administrator is strictly prohibited.

    13. You may not post advertisements.

    14. Post constructively.

    15. Do not use excessively large fonts.

    16. Disputes which cannot be resolved between forum users and moderators may be arbitrated by the forum administrators.

    17. The only exception to some of these rules is within the "Forum Games" board.

No, you didn't follow all those rules.  Not only that you admitted you broke the rules merely to see how far you could go.

Just wanted to see exactly where the limits were, I'll stop now.

I personally don't find it entertaining or funny.  And it definately doesn't help with me gain any respect for you as a poster. Keep this up and people might just start skipping past your posts.  If you want to be respected, post maturely. Don't repeat yourself, and don't create topics simply for the sake of it. It's easy to slip up and do this now and then, but doing it repeatedly gets people annoyed.  So just consider how you want people to regard you the next time you post, and ask yourself "Do I really need to post this?"

OK, mabye the "Just" wasn't really supposed to be there, I was typing fast OK? (For me anyway.)

Also I needed to find out exactly where the limits were, so I didn't accidently get banned without a clue why.

And I also stated that I had a more important reason for each of those threads. FYI  >:( Incase you "Skiped past those parts".)

    What will you do?

The rule about staying on topic should be bendable; human conversation follows natural progression, with one idea leading to another. Of course, the conversation should always be steered back to the topic, but just posting 'Stay on-topic' isn't really helpful.

I was paroozing the "forum history" thread and just had the urge to say something. Plus, now all these new members can get a chance to share an experience only the older members once had.
