entire ship. I hadn't seen the 1 kilometer part. Well, actually, they're about scale, Riether ships are about 1.5 miles, which translates to roughly 3 kilometers.
Oh, and: *hugs back*
EDIT: also, it just occurred to me, on that note, that the fighters would be the size of small commercial jets O-o.

I may be looking at it wrong, the only thing I had too nitpick about was the claws, but if you think about it those are probably freaking hard to render, so again...who cares!?

One thing people seem to forget: Explosions create heat. LOTS of heat. Especially things that go off like nukes (like solenium) if I'm not mistaken. I beleive I know what the dorvans did. They took samples of the cloaks and/or the solenium and/or the ablative armor. First of all, no solenium would be left, it would have all decayed in the explosion. Next, anything that DID survive would probably be a melted heap of unidentifiable slag.

actually kitkat it was not the Riether ship, I made a quick edit in the post right after I posted it and said the dorvans went into the Vokra's ship to retrieve something........... something that may still be alive?... In other words Vokra's crazy maneuver was so he could get out of there, even at the cost of his ship

Well I was planning to have the Core Combine retreat and then let the Riether meet some of the friendlier races out there like the Goonals or the Perrachi and such *I also consider this the Core Combines canon first contact with another race* funny though....how would the Riether react to one of the friendly races when the first one they met just started shooting at them with little provocation?
