I think this deserves it's own thread.

Wow, this looks a LOT better than AC1.

Also, note how Italian he is:

I don't think it looks A LOT better, from what I have seen it will be quite similar but with more varied gameplay.

Also, I suggest AC3 is set in 1984. And I mean the cool 1984.

I bet it'll be modern day or the near future, in some big city like Tokyo (where I think Desmond was interned in AC1) or New York. They promised some Desmond action sections I think, too.

... I still think I'd prefer AC in Airstrip One.

It would be interesting, but they'd have to do a time travel plot, considering I think Desmond was already a few years old by 1984, so no genetic memories from then would be present.

P.S. Massive overuse of commas? Nonsense!

Soo, the game is out. I played it a little at a friends house. They get to the point a bit faster in this game than in it's prequel-progenitor-thing, and the pickpocketing is a ton of fun. The guards seem to lock onto you much faster than in the old one, but there are indicators and stuff now. And there is a Desmond action sequence where you punch guys in the face and get thrown into the trunk of a car. Fun stuff.

You don't naturally regenerate any more, and you have to use instant healing potion medicine. Also, you can change what color your assassin outfit thingy is, if you can cough up the florins. And the buying equiptment would be cool if they gave you access to it, but I only got as far as the first bit of armor. Which is a bit crap, because you are stuck with your hidden blade thing for a bit of the early game, and you can't just take the swords that the guards drop because, erm. But the changing your robes-color-thing is pretty snazzy.

I still can't believe they're trying it on the DS again.  I don't know what's worse, that or me going to get it.

They will do an Ipod touch/Iphone version aswell. Which i believe is a ported DS version not quite sure, ( they did it with the first AC)

I'm certain I will enjoy this game immensly once I get it, but given constraints on my time currently, it will unfortunatley have to wait until Christmas along with L4D2 and Borderlands.

Got it today, even if the beginning seemed a little.. bleh to me, it got better. And better. So, it's great fun, even though I failed all my stealth assassination attempts.
I was so close at the latest one, but then I pressed the wrong button... Oh well, I'll get them next time...

EDIT: Finished story and all the Truth files. (So okay, I needed help in the last ones, but still.) Interesting vid, even though the story ending spoiled some of
the Truth stuff (I should've done the Truth first, then finished the story.)
Anyways, great game, interesting codex pages, fun-but-incredibly-frustrating Tombs (main reason being the controls. DON'T JUMP BACK YOU FOOL RAAGH GRARGH!) I would've liked to talk with Shaun and Rebecca more, but you can't get everything.
