Hmm. Those are the cons of eternal night. Pros are:

More abundant animals. An urge to create fire. Easier to destroy enemy factions through ambush. More mushrooms and fungi.

*Ahem*
We can't make fire if there aren't any trees. Since we're on a desert island (I think) resources are going to get used up rather quickly.

Drift wood. Only we will have eternal night.
Other islands won't.
And fire can be made on more than wood. Dead grass, for example, is extremely flammable. And if giant mushrooms grow to replace the trees then we can use those.

What happens after the fungi/mushrooms eat all the dead things? They they will die too. And then we are screwed.

(There won't be eternal night anytime soon. Mostly because brighter colors look better for this.)

Luna uses her intense TIDAL powers to life part of you into the air. You could have done it yourself, but you're LAZY.

Olga II travels into the underwater cave. There is a EERIE and MYSTERIOUS presence here.

Wok Wok waters the new trees and they continue to grow.

You hear Tark yelling and screaming. Obviously an attention WHORE.

I agree with the plan to dump part of us into the chasm to save Tark.

Also I never said to kill Sol, I said counter. As in; If he uses his powers to stop our villagers or help his own we would use our powers to stop what he is doing. Then after we forcibly convert his people he would have no choice but to join our pantheon.

As the head of our pantheon we would have no choice but to reduce Sol's control by limiting his influence. Every other 12 hour shift (perhaps 2 updates) Sol must leave the sky and sleep. During this time Luna will be in charge of watching over our people and providing light (shes obviously not quite as good with the light bit as Sol). After the second 12 hour shift is finished Sol can return to the sky to provide light and protect our people. These two shifts will be called 'day' and 'night'. Each full shift rotation, or day-night cycle will, confusingly, also be called a 'day'.

hey good idea, but when we have day and night established, and we find perhaps a green stone, we should add a third period of day: the Shpongle, this is where Shpongle-Trippy-Creatures are born
OK, both of you die and let us know what happens.
