Well...its no suprise that everyone voted PC. >.>

Nintendo also seems to be dominant here...
And just one PS3? didn't expect that.

DS and GBA take the second place...
they are the best handhelds though, and everyone needs a handheld :P

Right, new question.
More basic stuff, but this one should be more interesting.

2. What is you favourite genre?

Don't forget to discuss stuff...although this isn't such a debatable topic yet >.>

I like RPGs of the Sandbox kind and creative game and stragy games. I go with sandbox because it seems to be the most wide choice :P

I am not that in to JRPGs.
Check out my Creatures.

I voted Puzzle, because that's where I would put Solitaire and all it's variations.

No Stealth choice? Bah. I enjoy mindless FPSs too. Also RPGs. Hm.

I'll choose mindless FPSs. :D

Stealth would fall under "Unique/Genreless".

What about Metal Gear?  That counts as a game in the Stealth genre, sure it has other elements but it's mostly Stealth.

You can have stealth FPSs too. For example, the Thief series.

Doesn't Metal Gear classify as an Action Adventure game? That's what I'd call it.

Not Metal Gear for the NES, Metal Gear for...

Some Japanese computer system that I forgot the name of.  But it's not really action because you sneak around a lot.

The MSX?

They're basically the same game though.

Not really, the designer of Metal Gear for MSX wasn't involved in the one for Nintendo and the Stealth element isn't their, it's just punch people until you get the gun.  Sure, people fall asleep and you can sneak past them, but they just wake up.

So the designer was different, alright. The games are still more or less the same though. I think The Angry Video Game Nerd talked about it when he did his review (which is where I'm recalling most of this from) and I'm pretty sure the only major difference was that the final boss was either removed from the NES version or they added a new one. That's not really a massive game-changer, at least as far as mechanics are concerned.
