The Hero Trainer
« on: August 17, 2009, 05:05:29 pm »
Superheroes don't randomly become the superiour vigilantes like that... You know back in the day there were teachers able to make the puniest little kid into a fully aware warrior of light or darkness. The true trainers were on the neutral, training gifted was there only task on earth, as they were not human, but of celestial origin. The knowledge of the gifts got lost, people became unaware.

We write 2012, the ancient maya calendar was right, the world ended, but not how we expected it to happen. The gates of the celestial planes of good and evil were opened once again. Children born on this date were the first to be gifted again.
Our protagonist, a 16 year old boy has 1 year to unfold his chosen gift. Every action now affects him.

Name: Unknown (You pick) Heroname: Undecided
Powers: None
Strength: 10
Intelligence: 10
Charisma: 10
Swiftness: 10
Alignment: Neutral

You plan his month. Two tasks per week, so its eight total. you also need to post a stance. Specify like this:
Stance: Aggressive, Perfectionist, sloppy, witty, depressed, alcoholic, funny, caring, thankful
1st week: Train strength, meditate
2nd week: etc

Your actions:
Train Stat (str, Int, Cha, Swi)
Visit Mall
Visit Museum
Visit Stadium
Visit Military Base
Walk around
Drink in a bar
Meet people
Do act of Crime
Do act of Justice
do act of disobedience
Political Activism
Police Training
Beat up hoodlums

Your stance affects the actual outcome of different situations...

OK, both of you die and let us know what happens.

Name i have no idea. But for the actions as follows.

Week one
Action 1:train stat Str
Action 2: Train Stat STR

Week Two
Action 3: do act of justice
Action 4: train stat Swi

Week three.
Action 5: train str
Action 6: Act of justice
Week four

Action 7: Train Swi
Action 8: Act of Disobedient Justice

Stance : Aggressive and Crazy vigilante.

By the way the way i see it we can go as old DnD terms go. Chaotic Good, Think Watchmen hehe. If act of disobedient justice doesn't work make it just a Act of justice.

Month 1
Week 1:
At the beginning of the week you bought intelligence trainers, and some riddlebooks. The guy at the corner threw a bored look at you so you punched him. He called the cops, but youre already out. As you read you gain quite some insights... The other half of the days (meaning you would learn and study in the morning and jog and pushup in the nighttime. On day five a strange old man in the park was assaulted by two people. You jumpkicked into them, and smashed their faces on the floor. The old man thanked you for it.

Week 2:
This week you spent most of your time by learning agility based movements. For that you did parcours, and you trained reaction time by playing dodgeball with some kids. On one of your parcours missions you realize that there is a store being robbed by a hooded figure. As you jump down from the garage you were standing on you manage to get close to him. You run as fast as you can and grab him. In the next moment the police comes to help you, they say that youre a hero.

Week 3: Today youre going to the disco to hit on some women, and meet new people as friends. As you dance swiftly around, you get to know some women to which you talk to. On the other hand you meet this guy named Fred, hes obsessed with gifted (like you) but is a generally nice guy. Then suddenly you see a how a man slips something in the drink of a lady. You approach him and start to beat him. Even though your reaction was aggressive and dangerous, people in the end cheer for you.

Week 4: You buy a greater set of chesscomputers at a local electronic warehouse. The guy selling you the computer makes a snappy remark about your hair (Oh my your hair is like so dumb). You get back at him by smashing his car without him noticing.

Month 2:
Week 1:
You go to a local sports equipment store and get some weights. You train very hard for the entire week resulting in an aching back and stronger muscles.

Week Two: You parcours again, training your swiftness and reaction time. As you run and jump around you notice a man who stole a purse from an old lady. You start to follow him by running after him. After a mere two minutes you manage to knock him down, you bash him a couple of time and hold him down until the police come. You hand the purse back and the police thanks you for your help

Week Three:
You continue to train your strength by running arround with your weights. You run through the mall, the citycenter, the zoo, and finally the park, where you see a hooded figure trying to get it on with a lady. Shocked by this act of evil you jump over to this evil man and start to beat him into a bloody pulp. The guy is hardly able to move, the lady thanks you but is schocked.

Week Four:
Today you positioned yourself in the park to run over walls, and rocks on the lake to train your agility. You notice that there is this old man sleeping under the bridge. He screams of pain and hunger. You decide to visit the apothecary and the supermarket where you rob some painkillers, some first aid supplies and some food. You go over to the individual and help him out. He thanks you

Oh by the way the stats are to be understood as following

0-10 Underaverage
11-20 Average
21-30 Better
31-40 Talented
41-50 Natural Talent
51-??? Superpowered

No gifted can go higher than 50 in one skill, once training is finished things will change too... I will determine some powers which the character gets from beginning on and these skills can be raised with xp.
OK, both of you die and let us know what happens.
