3-D Maze
« on: November 28, 2005, 02:18:53 pm »
In this game, I will construct a three-dimensional maze out of stacked cubes. Each cube may have up to six doors that you can travel through; up, down, north, east, west, and south. The maze will never have dead ends. It is your job to figure out a way out of the maze. Every one may vote each day as to which direction to travel next. I will not provide you with the route you have taken, and will not tell you if you have been in any room before. I recomend that you draw some type of diagram to keep you bearings, so you don't get lost. Also, you may post your reasoning in the thread to try and persuade people to choose the same door.

The first maze will consist of 3x3x3 cubes, 27 in all. Your starting position is dead center, and the exit is located one cube west of you. The doors in this cube are: up, down, north, and east. Which door would you like to go through?

I would vote for eigther up or down or north reasoning: east would take you in the entirely wrong direction
What meme is relevant right now? Look, just imagine I'm riffing on that. Updating signatures is exhausting.

I'm gonna go east. Does the maze has a Pac-Man effect?

Like when you go east from the very east end, you're suddenly at the west end.

Nope, no wrapping. I thought about that, but decided against it.

Don't forget to vote, by the way.

Ooohhh.... so this is a team thing? I thought it was single people, misread your rules. I'll vote now. Too bad about the wrapping.

Edit: I clicked Up! Crap!

You move up one cube. The doors in this cube are: Down, and East. Which door would you like to go through?

north
I have been told
not by one but two of my lovers
that I've got a heart of gold
but I'm unable to share it with others
They call me a poet who'll never have a poem
a tiger with no taste for bone
I'm the wonderful wonderful wizard who's waltzing alone
