Vampire adventure
« on: July 06, 2009, 04:59:46 pm »
This is your humble abode.

'Tis a dark midsummer night and for some reason,

You decide to wake from your "eternal" slumber.

You remember not who you are, or who your mother is, and you do not have a clue about the contents of your castle.

Firstly, you may wish to give yourself a snappy name, considering you do not have one.

WHAT BE THY NAME, OH LORD OF DARKNESS?

And what will you do? My advice is try to find a library to study your surroundings and understand what exists around your home.

Or you could just run through your castle gate completely naked and terrorize the closest village.

Also, LoL.

Count Wilson.

Yep. People all across the peasant countryside shall fear your wrath, and say your name only on the brightest days after having eaten a bushel of garlic.

Count Wilson should terrify the closet village. Closet-dwellers need to move out of the damn closets and get a real house...damn freeloaders.

Count Wilson is a fine name, but we are not feared, yet!

What we must first do is explore our castle, get a bearing of who we were. Second, we should experiment with our powers, what weakens us? What can we do? If we are to accomplish anything of merit, we must be prepared first.

It has been settled.

From now on, you shall be known as Count Wilson, time to go make a reputation.

Leaving your "bedroom" and venturing around your castle you discover you have a rather splendid library/living room, a wonderful kitchen, but sadly no food or drink to be had, yet. There was also a staircase leading up to the tower closest to the sea, but the staircase had collapsed into rubble.

You find a book in your library entitled "Vampyr Boka", it contains knowledge of vampires, for one, it says you should avoid garlic at any cost. And that if you focus very hard, you can transform yourself into a creature of the night, but the instructions as to how this is done is not provided, because the following pages have been ripped out.

Also, it states that a vampire's teeth are used for consuming blood. Human blood is according to the book usually quite delicious, depending heavily on the karma of the owner of the blood in question, the kinder and pure the person, the tastier the blood.

You lean towards a window, and observe in the distance that a village is nearby.

You could go exploring more around your castle, or anything else.

hahahahhahahah.

Let's go plunder the village now that dawn is breaking. Seems like an excellent idea.

Continue exploring the castle. Feed on the blood of rodents for the time being if we need to. Depending on how long it takes us to explore this castle, we should try to seduce a human to be our servant before too long. We can use him or her as a butler, ambassador to recruit more humans and as a food source. We obviously don't want to drink so much as to kill him, but only enough to keep us going so that we may increase the size of our staff and thus food supply.

Also, down the line of recruiting humans, we should try to mask our vampire features, as to not alert the humans to our true nature, except for the most loyal and trusted of them.

In "Vampyr Boka", it reads that once you have quenched thine thirst, the victim will turn into a blob vampire after two days of being limp as a dead fish.

Also, drinking the blood of a fellow vampire is DOING IT WRONG.

So much for keeping a low profile. Wouldn't we run out of food quickly, and the vampire population quickly spiral out of control. I've got little to no long term ideas for such a series of events.

It should be noted however, that the Count is not presently feeling hungry.

And you just woke from an "eternal sleep"...

So from that logic you could say that there is no need for food.

Only blood.

Blood.

Blood.

Blood.

BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.
