Pokemon Diamond or Pearl -  A Staple of the gameboy series

Zelda: Phantom Hourglass - Fantastic controls, innovative gameplay, incredibly fun

New Super Mario Bros - One of the best time killers, ever.
No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

great, now I got a list when I get a DS. ^^

May I ask is the DS games region protected? Like can I play a game from Japan on an European DS?

I know previous Gameboys are.. :)

No, DS games are not region locked.
The only region limit the DS has is for the DSi shop, I think.

open warfare was a great one...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Prince of Persia: The Fallen King
Civilization: Revolutions
Chrono Trigger
Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (not usually my thing, but it's basically an innovative jrpg)
Age of Empires: Age of Kings
Pheonix Wright: Ace Attourney
Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift
Guitar Hero: On Tour
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
Ultimate Mortal Kombat
Lost Magic
Lost in Blue
Final Fantasy: Cecil is a Gay Clown
Elite Beat Agents

You're really gonna all hate me with this next one:
any one Yu-Gi-Oh game.

Trust me, I hate the series and everything about it.  Don't get me wrong when I say that Yu-Gi-Oh blows ass chunks.  However, I've learned that few games have the replayability factor of the World Tournament series.  Sure, you have Civ: Revs, but it really can't be played in quick sessions and due to the strategy involved isnt something you can pause for days at a time lightly.  A game of Yu-Gi-Oh can take a span of 5 minutes or you can enter the LP survival mode for a series of limitless battles.  With the ridiculous amount of extra play modes, the online play functionality, downloadable extra opponents, card packs, and duel puzzles, I am safe in saying that I have about 437 hours logged into the piece of **** timekiller called Yu-Gi-Oh World Tournament 2007.

You mock me, but the vast majority of DS games won't hold your interest for long.  When that happens, Yu-Gay-Ho is there.

I hope this post will offend as many people as I think it will.
