I'm surprised no one has discussed this one yet.

I just saw it (in 3D too) and it was great. Pixar really nailed this one. I think this makes up for some of their lack luster performance with Cars. I'd definitely watch it again, and I highly suggest it for you guys.

I cried.

In a good way or bad way?

I must admit it almost made me cry in certain parts. So I think Pixar did a great job at giving the film some balance in humor/action/sadness.

I saw it...it was pretty good, IMO. I haven't seen a pixar film in like...3 years.

I should probably see Wall-E sometime..

I don't know anything about this one. Suddenly it came up on the radar and everyone was talking about how emotionally gripping it was.
Guess I should check it out.

They didn't kill the 3D at all. At least, I didn't notice much of it. For the most part this film was made without the 3D aspect in mind. So you're really not going to see a lot of 3D abuse in the film. The previews however.

I... I cried...
You have to be a pretty good film maker to make me cry. That was so sad.

On another note, Chester A. Bum reviewed Up! Spoilers, though.
I thought it was strange how Carl and Muntz looked almost exactly the same age. If Carl was 72 and Muntz was around 20 when he set off to Paradise falls, that means he was 90-100 when he met Carl. He's in pretty good shape for a 90-something-year-old.

I didnt like it. Thats all i gotta say.

I am a massive Disney-Pixar fanboy.. But i was disappointed with Up, especially after all the good reviews.
I personally think Coraline was a better movie and that had a pretty whacked out story line.

The animated shorts are always ingenious. I was sad when the stork left the cloud and he got upset =(
