Yeah, but I remember seeing Nauceans with more than that at LEAST once... Somewhere, I know I have seen one with at least eight. But even without that the other stuff stands.

lolz @ Axelgear.

That picture is sooo cool. The only weird thing about it is that the tentacles aren't inside the pseudo-mouth. Mistake or just too hard to make? (Woaaah rhymes.)

Only if it was a picture taken from above or below. Otherwise it's probably some kind of shark.
And with this post, I've opened yet another can of worms.

Sorry, I'm not laughing at you. I didn't mean it like that, LMAO. I just meant it was somewhat funny about the tentacle thing because thats one of the things I thought at first as well. I guess great minds think alike, ehhhhh? EH? :P

Being on-topic... how did you make the pseudo-mouth and the tentacles? They look so neat.

Well, I was half-right, it was a ventral-side picture.

I can't help but notice that they really do have similar color patterns.

Though the ages there is an interconnected system of goods that depend upon each other. Durring the Iron Age of the River tribe 4 businesses depend upon each other for business. These are the Turnabegga Farmers, Brewers, Glassblowers and Bartenders at the Taverns.

In the first step from vegetable to ale, the farmers grow the turnabeggas in circular farms on the river bands of the city. Once grown they sell them to the brewers who brew the turnabeggas in to an ale. This process takes awhile and they also depend upon the carpenters for their barrels. Meanwhile the glassblowers collect the sand from the beach downstream to be used to turn into glass. They make many glass items but for this particular one they make bottles for the ale. They also recycle the broken bottles that Naucean throw away.

After the ale is brewed and the bottles are made they are brought tot the tavern in which they are poured into the bottles and sold, or poured into glasses also made by the glassmaker. The tavern is one of the main social hubs for the working River Tribe Naucean. This tradition of an alcoholic beverage continues all the way until the last days of the Naucean civilization. Infact turnabegga ale is still brewed by other species around the soloar system.

Wow, interdependence between different sections of the economic world.

I just remembered something I've been meaning to ask since I read about it a long time ago.

How exactly does Naucean time travel work? I know you said something about multiple dimensions thus preventing the predestination and Grandfather paradoxes (Paradoxii?) But I want to know technical details of the actual process from step one with some random Naucean. (Originally I was going to give said random naucean a name, but it was just an amalgam of a character from a book that time travelled, and would hint at how I thought it worked, but I'm nice and won't pressure you to do it :) )
