I thought this game was amazing enough to deserve it's own thread, so here it is.

P.S. I searched and couldn't find one already made, so if there was an inFamous thread, don't crucify me. Please.

Well, sir, this game sets a variety of electrical superpowers at you disposal, and one can preform a variety of acrobatic stunts as well. All of this, plus a good story and amazingly intuitive controls can be yours for a minor sum of $59.99 (plus tax, S&H not included)! If you don't take my word for it, a demo is now available on the Play Station Network.

I'll be honest with you: it looks a bit naff. I can't imagine a rigidly cliché superhero story like this is going to have a compelling plot, especially not with LOL INSTEAD YOU CAN BE TOTALLY EVIL at every cutscene.

But hey, maybe the platforming's worth it.
Not a winner anymore.

i saw a few gameplay vids, and it looks like loads of fun...too bad I'm a 360 owner...no PS3.

:/

Maybe later. *Starts up a list of must-have PS3 games*

Actually, the story is freakin' amazing. Basically, the story is nearly the same regardless of alignment (in terms of results- things play out differently, but the result is the same). There's some good character development in there, too. You just owe it to yourself to play it. It's that damn good.

It's not a platformer per se, but they made platforming so well that it could be. It's more Action-Adventure than anything.

Oh.

So there are no consequences for BEING TOTALLY EVIL LOL.

:/

Edit: Penny Arcade has a go, and seems to confirm the suspicion I got from the trailer.

If you play the game twice, you would see that there aren't any differences. People throw rocks at you if you're evil though. Really, the karma system has very little to do with the story. I still maintain that it's a good story, however!

Well... Fable 2 did have choices that actually DID alter the game though. Giles Farm, Old Town, Oakvale, your Hero's face and whether or not you got your dog back.
No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

Well I got inFamous and beat it. I must say it is a very good game. Especially when you get to go Palpatine on peoples ass's. Being evil is great. I hate how ever that i have to play the game through again to get the rest of the trophies.

Also, I must of missed the Uncharted 2 multiplayer demo code.  Now I just need to look around for it.

I had received a code for the Uncharted 2 Demo and I played the snot out of it, but when I tried to go on yesterday it told me it had expired. So I wouldn't expect your demo code to work any more if you end up finding it. But don't be too sad, they said they'll be releasing another multi-player demo between now and when the game comes out.
