It's almost guaranteed to suck. He's not a strong enough character to uphold his own show.

If Quagmire and him somehow moved in together, maybe, but not Cleveland on his own.

Cleveland said it himself at the end of Baby Not On Board when he was locked in the Griffin's basement.
Also, I agree with Little.

American Dad is great, though Family Guy is better. I agree that Clevelands personality is more of a sidekick type, but I asume they know what they are doing.

No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

Ugh.  This has to be in the top three of Seth McFarland's bad ideas.
Probably not a Goat, either.

Now you're just animating Two and a Half Men, only Alan Harper is a black guy.

But you get to throw in the Familt Guy cast and Srth Macfarlane's zaniness, so it would be better than that.

The vast multitudes of people who enjoyed Shrek would beg to differ.

Though I will agree that the 3rd one was god awful and regret being roped into watching it.

It's definitely better than American Dad, which I actually liked at first. It's not the failure I kind of expected it to be.. I mean... come on, Isn't McFarlane doing something that hasn't been done since the Golden Age of Cartoons? Hell.. the Golden Age of TV. He has 3 fairly well liked shows running at the same time and with in the same general continuity. The trick of it is to see how long they can last. As blasphemous as this may sound, I think Seth MacFarlane and Matt Groening are the Hanna and Barbara  of our generation. >.> Well except for the working together part. Maybe a slightly more accurate comparison would be using Leon Schlesinger and Chuck Jones (or basically mix-and-match any of the great animators here).

Err.. I've rambled again. Point being... I'm kind of enjoying the show so far and Family guy is pretty amusing too (I just hope the "Chevy Chase Curse" doesn't kick in, despite being one of the best Comedians from the last generation of Comedians, still alive that is, he sure doesn't do well in movies and shows... lol).
