Here, have some pictures I took of the snapshot.

One of the new biomes, "Savanna"

As you can see, the terrain generates higher then the old limit now.

199 blocks tall, even.

My own picture of the ice spikes.

Amplified terrain, anyone?

The tallest waterfall ever, see from the top.

From the bottom.

Wideshot.

With amplified terrain generation selected, I've seen mountains as tall as 250 blocks. It's pretty awesome.

Is this the new update? Minecraft tends to bore the living hell out of me now. :/

If you want my advice, try modpacks with friends. That's always fun.

Server will be up through to tomorrow evening, possibly longer.

I'm currently having a map rendered that will let us see the server in a Google Maps sort of layout. Will post a link once it finishes. ;)

Ohhhhkay. Well, the render works but because some folks went very far out (over a million blocks from spawn) the map is there but doesn't zoom in enough to see anything. Yup.

There is. But I'll have to do it in MCEdit and that's a bit of work that I just didn't have time for yesterday.

Gonna try to take a crack at it today some time though. Will update you when I'm done! :)

Right, pruning the map doesn't seem feasible. The map is still so huge that even trying to manipulate the map in the editor is expected to take hours. Anyone know of good mapping software? Specifically ones you have experience with? (because I can and have checked the wiki myself)

Server is down for the night. It's just too darn hot and the AC needs an injection of cold.

On the plus side I finished the road from Ink Town to Large Town. Check it out some time!
