I think I'll be doing a servery-type thing over the Summer.

Maybe sporadically, maybe regularly.

It'd be using the Void's Wrath modpack, which focuses on the Divine RPG mod.

You get to fight over the crowds of nobody with me.

Or are you guys not into vanilla survival/creative anymore? Honest question, I've have very little interest lately and if it's not what you're looking for I'll stop advertising and save us all time and space. :P

I think a separate creative server would be neat. But it isn't always on. I feel it too much of a hastle to ask for a server to be turned on rather than joining on that's already open and ready to play at anytime without asking. I think M's server just spoiled me. :P

Obviously it's not within anyone's means to host a paid server, but I do believe it's what keeps the interest going, even when no one has been playing for a while. The fact that's it's still there when you have a craving to play makes it that much more appealing.

Fair enough.

Truthfully the reason I switched to a "the server is on when you want it to be" method was because I had my computer on for about three weeks and not a single person came to the server despite regularly advertising it. At a certain point that's just too wasteful in terms of electricity (and my computer's hardware) for me to justify. Even if I rented a server I'd probably cancel it at that point because I'm just wasting money on a server nobody uses. That's the way I looked at it.

I've got no problem leaving it on all the time but when it's four, five, and six days between visits (I check the server logs regularly for activity) I have to question whether people even want to play. And if they aren't playing, I guess it's no use to host.

A zombie bites a baby.

Pretty straightforward.

I've always figured that they still have blood in their veins, just other peoples, right? The problem then becomes how does enough blood get it to the appendage if there is no heartbeat regulating the flow? My idea is that at a surplus of blood, extra blood is flowing throughout their body so they get hard if they have drank in excess.
No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.
