I only made on of those craters on my first day in the server.  But don't worry, I have changed my ways.
Probably not a Goat, either.

Sort of like Santa's server-crashing egg launcher.

My favorite part was that after it was discovered that the launcher crashed the server, there was a time when the only thing keeping people from pushing the button was a sign that said something ambiguous like "please don't push the button". ;D

So I found a partially flooded village. You can even see the gravel roads submerged.

I'm sorry that I have to post again, but this is just too awesome:

Four giant rocks, each one associated with one of the four elements. (One is covered in sand (earth), one has water flowing out of it, one magma (fire) and one is floating in the air.)

And all of it is 100% natural. It's like I am playing minecraft for the first time, it's so awesome.

That's pretty neat.

So earlier today, Celdur mentioned something about a map height limit mod. I looked around and it seems like a bit of a campaign is forming with people looking to get the mod implemented into the main game in some way.

Sounds good to me.

I like that but I'm a big Fifth Element fan. You should build there.

ps.. if you want to see a mushroom biome, use ... lost ... as a seed. You'll spawn right on one.

I wondered what shroom cows looked like.  Neat!

Maybe they should make the giant mushrooms spawn a little closer to eachother and in greater numbers
to make the new biome more interesting. :D

Notch has been working on animal breeding:

Awesome. I've set aside some space on my server's farm for a corral.

Also, here's another render of the map.
