While we're on the topic...

LadyM, I'm sure you saw the castle my friend and I built over your lakeside room/outpost. Sorry if you were intending to build something else there. I had the impression that it was just an abandoned outpost and didn't think to ask you for permission to build there. Next time I'll be sure to ask first. We'd be happy to have your input on the castle's design too, if you'd like.

The castle looks good and I wasn't intending anything. I did marked a spot there and didn't come back until recently and was surprised to see something being built. It looks good though. I started to blend my camp to go with your castle. No need to ask permission. Look forward to seeing it go up.

Good advice.  I discovered that spiders and creepers float.
Probably not a Goat, either.

Man, do I wanna build out on the water so bad. So much space.

I really hope for big open oceans and a way to build on top of water without making a pillar from the bottom or a road that connects to land

He said new areas, not new maps there's a difference. We will just need to dig out another neither rail for 1.9. :P

It's Nether like the Netherlands, not neither like neither this nor that, by the way. Just sayin', Jack Zetter never realized that Beyon wasn't Beyond until someone pointed it out  ;)

Is there any way to create boundaries for a restart in 1.8? A map edge which can be extended if you choose to do so?

The map of Faffington is already 475 mb. Do we really want to go larger? The update may be out on Monday so we need a plan.

Well i think we have three options when 1.8 hits: 1) Make a new map. 2)Stay put for now, use Nether tunnel to get to new area and new map for 1.9. 3) Faffington Forever! Make Map Bigger until it crushes itself with it's own weight.  Someone set up the poll.

While I'd hate to see Faffington (and Subterra) go I'm in favour of a new map.
There is, of course, a difference between having a laugh with someone, and having a laugh at their expense
