Notch apparently already decided to name them "Endermen".

Reminds of The Slenderman.

Edit: "Endermen" I see what he did there. :P

What did he do?
No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

I'm wondering how the planned NPC villages will operate - is it like Millenaire where they're expanded as time goes on, or are they just static? I could sort of see these dudes building stuff if they like to play with blocks. Walking into a village full of these guys would be weird.

Looks like I'll have to build a few extra walls around my castle.

Thankfully that hexagonal castle I built on pixxels server will prevent anything from mining through as it has lava inside the walls.

Edit- I was bored and I did a sketch of the new mob.

Since they will add new world areas, like villages etc. I bet you're going to have to generate a new world for that to show up. :C

It might be possible for Lady M to map edit around our major areas, so we keep our buildings and structures and everything else gets regenerated. The only downside is that this might generate weird chunks.
I need a new tag.

Honestly, I'm okay to start a new map once this new stuff comes out. That way, we can keep the map organized from the beginning. Don't get me wrong, I love Faffington and the rest of the map, but I think a fresh start would be kind of nice.

We could use the same generating code I used for that map, but it would probably not generate the new stuff for it.

Also we could each get our own village and rule it.

I'd be fine with anyone actually playing at all. So many nights spent digging out Pol Pera, only me online, knowing full well there's sod all point in me continuing if no-one's ever gonna log in to see it all and yet continuing anyway. =I

EDIT:
You know, what I would think would spice things up would be admin-driven quests and events or something like that. Not sure it'd really work with so few of us, though.

What the game needs is a GM mode that allows the server host (or designate) to summon mobs, loot, and obstacles as well as potentially prebuilt structures. Regardless the game is in desperate need of an adventure system and more/better mobs.

I had thought of DM/GM tools as a potential mod. Probably beyond my ability though.
