It is also very difficult to gauge distance in the nether, especially with the huge Ghasts.

Protip: You can reflect the fireball launched by the Ghast with a well timed punch.

Yeah, I've had a lot of fun with that. Haven't got them to do any damage, though.

Heh, I did that with an arrow shot by a skeleton once.  Once.

Had my server up for a short time as a test. The actual lag seems to be gone, but performance is still kind of bad. There are these spikes in the monitor that shoot up in the exact same pattern. Whether or not they happen like clockwork, I don't know. Something Notch did anyway.

I'd -really- like it if player movement was more accurate, like in creative. I'm pretty tired of that wonky-looking movement.. :(
I wanna build another one of those crazy jumping puzzle dojos, only this time I can include ladders, redstone stuff, and other things.

Getting in to it with the Pigmen suuuuucks. Any of them in the area of the one you ticked off will come after you for a long time (as long as it takes for your dropped stuff to de-spawn).

I heard that if they walk into fire and get themselves killed, the rest of the pack will still come right after you.
Sounds like fun.

No, in fact, the way I kill them is setting the block under them on fire.

They don't even notice, and I've had more than a few occasions when another Pigman will appear to stand besides me, watching nonchalantly.

Huh. Ah well.

I still haven't actually played the new stuff really. I'm waiting on SMP.  :-X

If you kill pigmen indirectly (make them fall in a pit with a fire in the bottom for example) then they don't attack. But if you are mining like mad and breach the wall and hit one by accident with your pick axe... get ready to rumble.

Hellstone filled firepits are my new favorite 'real world' trap. Combined with a fishing pole you can have all kinds of fun.

Accidentally hitting a pigman is like accidentally  hitting a car alarm in L4D.

Except it's like a car alarm that summons tanks instead of common infected.
