I may spend a lot of time digging and gathering stuff, which I mostly give away or use for very small personal projects, but the main thing I enjoy is going out into the uncharted wilderness.
Had a lot of fun going out with Ovi on my server. Mapped a huge chunk.

Biomes should be fun, especially when more mobs and resources/items are added.
Uh, if that ever happens. Mobs, yeah. Dunno about resources though.

Hey gaup can portals be any size? Just curious because your design is not the same dimensions as the one in pc gamer and does not have the obsidian bottom.

The new mobs can fly, can't they? So that setup seems a bit useless.
Also, you can prevent Ghast from spawning by building small rooms. Notch said on his Twitter they only spawn if they have space, either 5x5x5 or 4x4x4. So just build a really small room around the portal if you're afraid of Ghast coming through

Yes, it's just a skin. A stupid one, but a skin nonetheless. Just like the Painterly pack and plenty of others you can find on the Minecraft forum.

I wish people would grow the **** up and drop that issue. It is reversed, it is a logic drain layout, and a form that has a function. If it is an issue you can make it an 'H' shape. Please stop wasted internet bandwidth on it FFS.

Yeah, it appears it has to have the 2 by 3 holesurrounded by obsidian, according to the update thread.
