I think I know how to make the perfect sprinkler system.

1. Build some sort of castle underwater

2. Make sure it's dry and has at least 5 sets of walls on every side to resist water

3. Add torches and a fireplace

4. When fire place fails, dig through the roof to let the water in

5. When the castle is flooded and there's no fire, add five walls to the hole

6. Enjoy a nice, fire-free castle.

You do understand that water does not function in a conventional/logical way in Minecraft right? If you go baack several pages you'll see the underside of a ship I built where the water does not fill in the area. To that same effect, I get the currents in the previous page screenshot that pushes the mobs in to the catcus.

Then figure out some way to tra- I mean, flood the area and seal the castle so it doesn't burn.

Also, that's what the guy was trying to do. Really it probably would have worked if fire wasn't bugged. Currently blocks that are on fire that are extinguished reignite themselves.

So the moral of the story is don't be the little pig who built his house of sticks (or straw should that ever get implemented as a building material).

K I'm going to go pirate it and make a miniature planet and tribal hut out of wood. And then I will test the safe furnace tutorial as in that one vid.
