It started off with me just being curious how many blocks each size of circle would take.  And then I derived some other interesting numbers.

Also, I added how many blocks it would take to make a dome of that width.

Also, we totally need to make a 45 unit diameter glass dome over our city.  Only 25 full stacks of glass!

That's not that much actually. Sand is easy to get and with 5 to 10 furnaces running it'll take no time at all.
Yeah, [Kishmond] came back from Africa, but the ponies have him now.

something with the largest circle having a lot more area than the smallest

It is something to do with the best volume in relation to radius and height, something similar to that is the reason why your coke cans look like they do  :P

Is this also why milk comes in bags in Canada?

I like your math, Martyk! It's pretty useful for structure creation.

Here's the satellite imagery. Took a day/night shot, which is like sunrise or sunset lighting.

The image took like five minutes to render and is about 7 mb. Just so you know.
I haven't compressed it this time.

You can take down all that wood and stone near the farm I made the other day. I just put it there cause the server was going down...

Probably not a Goat, either.

It may be time for a smear campaign against Gauph.
