I wish we could decorate the walls like in Dungeon keeper. Which could also be a solutions to create a form of "ownership" on your stuff.
If you stop and think about it, Your life's longer as an old guy than a kid. Scary o.o

Above ground maps are the same as ever for me.

I think he put some more work into regions recently. You're probably just in some flatlands.

Well when i got close to the mountain i saw water and then i saw it was a waterfall. I just took a picture

After taking the picture i tried to get up the waterfall but it was so slow but i made it to the top and where the water is coming from is a 1x1 box with water on the edge. So on gen it did that. I think its really nice its the first real natural waterfall since the update.

I really want to try to create D'ni, but I can't find a big enough cave and can't be assed to dig my own.

Updated with rails and carts.

I=Iron
S=Stick

I.I
ISI
I.I

Makes 16 rails

...
S.S
SSS

Makes a cart.

Rails auto align and auto turn. Highlight a cart and right click rails to place one. They work like moving boxes. The rails can work on slopes and they go down them... This is the only way I know that they can move by themselves. If you derail them, you can push them along by themselv es, and they'll rerail themselves if they touch rails.

Sand and gravel now actually falls instead of teleporting downwards.

The sand and gravel looks pretty cool.
Whenever I find some iron, I'll try the tracks out.

EDIT: Man, I'd really like to be able to set the spawn point.
I died in a cave when looking for iron and lost all my stuff, respawned, and then had no idea where the hell I was even with the previewer.

Set the game to peaceful so no monsters spawn.  :D

Man, I'd really like to be able to set the spawn point.

Me too.

Hell, I set it to hard and monsters don't spawn that much for me.
Though there was this one time where I was utterly invaded by skeletons. There had to be at least 20 of the damned things.

Minecarts are pretty cool, though it once again raises an issue I've been having. I'm wondering if it's the same for the rest of you--
Where the hell is all the iron? Seriously, if I find any iron, it's a small cluster of 1 or 2 blocks.
I'll have to dig through a good 500+ units of stone before I find this one puny cluster too.

But you know, like I keep saying.. if this game were multiplayer already, I'd have some bros helping out with this venture.

But yeah, as for minecarts, they're neat. You can fit a regular-sized container's worth of stuff in them, you can push them around even off tracks (though it's awkward as hell), you can build tracks to go up hills..
It's really cool. I'm glad the dudes on the forum badgered Notch for this as much as they did, 'cause he wasn't even considering adding them before.

I belive the same thing of setting spawn and finding iron. Its so hard for me to find it. It takes me 5 hours to find 2 silver.
I only had 3 buckets ever made and i nbtedited the tracks and minecarts. When SMP comes out i will either put my server up or join someones and we all can play on that. And we shall make the GS Kingdom
