Okay. I'm having a problem with Minecraft.

As you probably do not remember, my computer was fixed recently, and it's hard drive was replaced. Afterwards, as I just discovered, Minecraft does not work. I do not mean it gives me an error, I mean it looks like this:

The World of Minecraft Client does not work either. I also can no longer find Java on my computer. I am not sure if this is normal, though before the hard drive replacement, I could find Java by going into Finder and typing "Java" in the search bar. I can no longer do this, though I can find Java Preferences.

What do I do?

Try to install java anyways. If you already have it then an update will occur. If you don't have it then you will get it.

You can't install Java on a mac, it comes when you use software update.

But I've tried that, Java doesn't come up when I use software update.

1E=10,832,100,000,000km3

1E=10,832,100,000,000,000m3
1 cubic kilometer isn't 1000 cubic meter, like you used. It's actually 1000*1000*1000 m3, or 1 billion cubic meter.

I think Notch said a couple of times that macs don't really work with Minecraft. He bought a new macbook recently, so support for macs should show up pretty soon.

So I was messing around with airlocks, and came up with this map. There's two airlock-based traps, I recommend the stone-covered one first, the sand one usually kills.

Has anybody else been playing with airlocks? For those who don't know, they're based on the fact that torches can support sand/gravel, and water destroys torches. This allows somebody to place torches supporting stacks of sand, and if the water floods the tunnel, the sand blocks off the flow. They're really interesting, some people have even built things like logic gates with them.

As my delicious Twitter says, I will be playing Minecraft on my stream starting at noon CST tomorrow, 6 PM GMT.

I like this website a lot better because of it's more functional and less demanding streaming software, unfortunately the ads would be a bit annoying.

However, I think Adblock blocks them. Handy.

PS- Hopefully Notch will check it out. That would be cool.

Minecraft is working for me again.

I had to manually install it. Yes, I know it was suggested, but I didn't know how to do it at the time. Yay!

Industrialization for the win.
(Of course there is no industry in Minecraft so I settle for burning down forests and leveling hills.)
