Oh, I thought there were arrows in the video.

Maybe you have to combine a bunch of different materials to get them.  Maybe dirt, flowers and something else.

LOL...exploding creeps destroy water...which leave water blocks for you to pick up...and you can build with them...causing mass floods!

I'm going to say that's a bug.  I would not like that in an MP game.  lol

Blew up a few creeps (chain reaction of them blowing each other up), which revealed a cave...


that was huge and vast and full of mushrooms (which spawn only in caves now).

It definitely shows a lot of promise, but right now it's just a small preview.  A lot of things are still missing, and this is really still in alpha.

Best feature of survival mod is BY FAR the new map generator. You end up with awesome, intricate, long and forking caves that you could explore for ages.
, criss-crossed with lava rivers and full of mushrooms and mobs.
