Hmmm. Maybe we should have a few threads on Minecraft. One for each map.

You could try that. I was hoping this one would be more for general discussion.
Maybe open up your own threads in storytelling and roleplaying? I mean, you're basically making a little world with farms and houses and stuff.
Anyone who wants to jump onboard your thread can.

Otherwise, you could just keep doing what you're doing here, only organize it a bit better.
Don't want a whole bunch of merges sent here later turning this thread into a cluster-f.  :P

To be honest, the random offsets looks kinda bad :-\

I said so too. Maybe with some refinement, it could look good. He's adding in slopes and stuff I think, so..
As it is, everything is way too wonky.
Maybe if the players could level the land? Soil isn't always perfectly even, but constructions should be.
So if you dig away dirt and replace it, it should be replaced evenly. Any and all constructions on uneven land will automatically even them out.

Or something. Otherwise, he could incorporate physics and we could get a nice demonstration of what happens when you build an unstable structure out of rock.

I like it. I am just drawing a blank. And I may just make a thread for various maps. Maybe it could be a sort of nation project. The original creator of the map choosing the teams for their map.

Or we have a huge GS map.

He will be making the option for larger map sizes.

We still need turns. Each person can edit once every 2 weeks?

Well, after he nails down all the main game elements, we can move on to beta.
And you know.. multiplayer.

That's why it's important for us to give him feedback so he can keep right on rolling.
The more the merrier.

Good idea. And we need a person to pick 10 - 30 people and someone to show erosion and such after everyone is done with their turn.

Sam, that's not the right save. You either removed my farm or had the completely wrong save. try this one.
