There is a new badass Krogan in your party by the name of "Grunt". Wrex is supposed to show up if he lived in your play-through though.. I imagine that he'll be back in 3 though (I personally think you'll get basically all your characters and a bunch of new ones to use during 3, depending on what you've done in 1 and 2).
