Man, despite my Camp Comandant Shepard being desicively Renegade when I saw David all wired up like that I was slamming down the Paragon option. Awesome DLC.
Yeah, I could not imagine choosing the renegade option after seeing David, much less after seeing him crying.

Not a problem for me though, I go Paragon. :P

I just feel renegade more often feels less like being a badass, and more like being a moronic douchebag.

If anyone has yet to play the first Mass Effect and did not buy it for $5 off Steam yesterday, I know longer wish to know you

I wasn't going to buy it until you posted that. Then I suddenly remembered trying to buy it for 20 dollars on eBay and getting outbid. If i would spend 20 on it when I had less money, I'd surely spend 5 now. Too bad I can't play it until I get back from vacation in 6 weeks. I'm actually very excited to give it a go.

cuttlefish

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reaper_Cuttlefish

they desighned it and named it after the same animal.

Having just finished the game, I find myself trying to understand how a Human form spaceship could possibly be used more effectively than a standard Reaper.

Unless...- No! They wouldn't!
Spoiler?

I highly doubt they would need a kilometer long megamaid.

That has four eyes and scary stuff on it. :P

Logan, There is no 'standard reaper'. They are all the species in which they consume. They're all unique.
No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

I heard what EDI said. I just thought it was a bit counter-intuitive that a species that considers themselves the pinnacle of evolution would model themselves after a "weak-formed" organic species. Judging by the fleet at the end cutscene, the reapers all share the basic "cuttlefish" silhouette, with a few slight differences. My comment was more an expression of my dislike of humanoid shaped spaceships.

As I interpreted it, the cuttlefish design was the origonal reapers, designed after their creators.  Then, as time went on, they required organics in order to create new reapers, as evidenced by the need for human captives.  Reapers created through this process would take on the qualities of the species in question, hence humanity was chosen for it's resiliance and adapatability.

No one created them though, they always were. Learn2Play ME1 Nub. Plus, im pretty sure in the end cinematic they're all different in design. Also: I agree with the second half of your hypothesis completely.

LAir of the shadow broker, drool.

No one created them though, they always were.

So said a Reaper, not exactly the most trustworthy source.  Someone had to have created them at some point, even if it was a billion years ago.  The reapers either don't remember this or don't want to admit it.
