If we wanted it to end differently, then it wouldn't be our favorite movie.

In the original "Willy Wonka And the Chocolate Factory" they would be blasted into oblivion, and all die.

In "The Secret of NIHM" there would have been an epic battle where Nicodemus would have make the bad rat dude die in some horrible manner.

Rocky would have won. 'Nuff said.

The Death Star would never have blown up, and the mission would have been a failure. This fact would be a recurring plot point for the rest of the movies.

Dorothy would never have gotten back home in "The Wizard of Oz."

THE ENDING OF 2001 WOULD HAVE MADE SENSE

That's all.

I would cut the bit of the Joker's speech after he's stuck up on the roof where he says that they'll be fighting forever.  Every time I see that I remember he's not coming back.

Oh, and read the book.  The thing with monkeys at the beginning?  Completely explained.  Space baby?  Makes total sense.  That long boring conversation at the beginning?  A lot shorter and filled with more descriptive wording.
Nefarious?  Nearly.  Ne’er-do-well?  Never!  Neither nearly names this narrator.  Naive and knowledgeable, notorious and inscrutable, this nascent Nero is known naturally as Neoadept.

NO! Kubrick must require you to use your brains, patience, caffeine and ten+ year classical and philosophical education.

High School Musical where everyone dies, and it should happen about three and half seconds after the film starts.

I love 2001, and even I hated the ending. The book version makes MUCH more sense, and was just generally better.

I thought the ending for 300 was good. It was about Thermopylae and not Plataea (I think that was the battle's name...) so it didn't need to show that battle.

movie ending I would change though... hmmm. I'll get back to that one.

I would change the end of Thelma and Louise. The car would run out of gas and they would both get arrested. That would finish off those stupid arguments people have about 'if they made it or not'.
