Val'ones had come up with an idea while he was bedridden. Even though he was out of bed again, he needed to do something to build his strength and dexterity back up. Indeed, he was walking with a cane at the moment! He had remembered during his last visit to the High Council that they had wanted to meet the Orealyanis Monarch. And given that the Orealyanis were arguably the Photos greatest ally, and had never actually set foot on the homeworld of the Photos, or even really learned much of anything about the empire except for it's military policy, he decided to invite the Orealyanis monarch over to Photise and give him a tour of the hub of the bustling empire.

King's Chamber; Grand Hall; Tanariadne

Well, that's a swell coincidence.

King Foriza read the commander's message as he produced a pair of rather delighted smiles. He just got back from the Knights of Vengeance after their initial evaluation of the galaxy's defenses. Needless to say, they were going to need all the help they can get if intel was correct about its prediction of a full blown war. In line with this, the monarch was going to begin a galaxy-wide diplomatic tour of the galaxy's major political entities.

Seeing as the Perrachi Socialist Republic, and by extension the entire United Society, was currently experiencing massive internal hostilities, the Orealyianis Monarch decided to trip to postpone his trip to the region until he has heard the other powers' opinions regarding the matter. Hopefully, he'd be able to garner enough support to fix the crisis in question before an unwholesome, malevolent force takes advantage of the current geopolitical confusion.

With the above factors in mind, the monarch quickly concluded that there was no better way to start his important journey than to personally visit one of their strongest and most trusted allies, the Photos. Commander Val'ones' offer couldn't have possibly been more timely.

Photise; Outer Orbit

Beautiful.

The King gazed silently at the small blue marble right before his eyes. Photise, it was called, the homeworld of the Photos race.

Ka.

It was only a matter of time before he and his escorts could land on the planet and explore its surface in person.

Commander Val'ones was waiting at the spaceport when the Orealyanis ship arrived. He greeted the monarch at the gate.
"Welcome to Photise, your Highness." Val'ones said. "I know that you are quite busy with all the current incidents, so I am honored that you came. I figured the first stop we would have is to get something to eat. I don't know about you, but I'm starving!" The commander said, adjusting his grip on his cane.

[Yuu]

"Much obliged!", Foriza warmly replied. "I've heard a lot of very positive news about Photos cuisine!", he added in a very jovial manner. Moving closer to Val'ones, the commander's cane suddenly attracted the visiting monarch's attention.

"How's the recovery going, might I ask?", he questioned with a careful mix of caution and concern. On one hand, he wouldn't wish to stress the commander too much, especially since he just came out of the hospital. On the other hand, he also didn't want to stir up memories better left forgotten, or otherwise unwittingly cause offense to a person who was also equally a victim in the quite recent incident.

The commander made a "follow me" motion.
"Well, I can't complain. I'm alot better than I was. I need the darn cane because my muscles are still pretty weak from lack of use. But I'll be alright. Anyway, the place I was figuring we'd go is a little place called Neoeat. It's a family-run business, really nice people. I've been going there sense I was a kid, and they have some great recipes." Val'ones said. He lead the monarch out to his cycle.
"There are two seats in the back, take your pick." He said, sitting down in the driver's seat. He turned the engine on, and let it warm up. He waited until the engine went from a humming sound to more of a purring sound. He looked over his shoulder, and Foriza had himself buckled in.
"If you're thirsty, there's carbonated water in the little cooler in between the seats." Val'ones said, looking back at Foriza. He looked back at the road, and let onto the accelerator gently, easing the vehicle out of stall it was parked in. He drove it to the street, and when he got the light, he slowly let down on the accelerator. Now, it was a straight road down to the restaurant.

((I suppose that I aught to get to teh restaurant already. Val'ones is probably eating his fingers on-stage by now.))
Val'ones saw the sign a way down the road, and applied the break slightly. When they got to the restaurant, Val'ones pulled into a parking stall and killed the engine. He unbuckled himself and got out of the vehicle, waiting for Foriza.

"That was a very great ride, I have to say!", the monarch replied as he quickly disembarked and made his way to the commander in front of him.

"Thank you! I re-built the bike's suspension myself." Val'ones said, opening the door for Foriza. He stepped in after the Orealyan and shut the door. The resturant's owner instantly recognized him, and walked over.
"Aah, Val'ones! It's been a while, friend! And, speaking of friends, who is your friend here?" The owner asked.
"This is Monarch Foriza of the Orealyanis. Foriza, this is Ko'zar, one of my closest friends and the owner of this establishment. Ko'zar's eyes widened slightly.
"MONARCH Foriza? So he's royalty?" Ko'zar asked.
"Yes, he's royalty. He's the leader of his race, in fact." Val'ones explained.
"I see, I see. Please, let me lead you to one of the open tables." Ko'zar said, leading the pair to an open table. He walked away as they sat down. A worker came a few seconds later.
"Welcome to Neoeat, our Order of the Day is Special B, and if you spend over 40GC, all the group members get a free desert." The worker said, setting a menu out in front of both people.
"Thank you." Val'ones said
"While I'm here, would either of you like something to drink?" The worker asked.
"I would like a carbonated water. Foriza, do you want anything to drink right now?" Val'ones asked.

"That would be quite nice.", Foriza gladly replied as his two raised nippers formed what can be considered a pair of smiles. "I guess I'll also have a carbonated water.", he promptly decided, not wanting to spoil his appetite. The king wanted to try the house's specialties, especially after he heard it was a family-operated business. Nothing like home-style recipes, he thought to himself.

Val'ones grabbed a small coloured package from a small dispenser on the end of the table.
"If you find the carbonated water a little lacking in taste, these add a fruit flavor to it." Val'ones said, setting it down next to the dispenser. The worker came back with their carbonated water, and Val'ones put the flavor packet into it. He stirred it, and the water turned a purple-red colour. He took a drink, and to his delight, it was the flavor of a Uloran, Val'ones' favorite fruit.
"Your meals are ready, I'll bring them now." The worker said. He must have brought the water first so he didn't spill. When he came back about thirty seconds later, he had two large, piping hot plates in his hand. He sat them down in front of the two and walked away.
On the plate was a diverse amount of food. On the right side of the plate were two Loohras, with a special sauce. On the opposite side was a boneless wedge of Trekel, which is a small grazing animal. In the middle of said plate was a small bowl filled with the ever-infamous P'gwi soup. and above and below this were Yebel, a root vegtable.
Val'ones looked up at the Orealyan across from him.
"Enjoy." He said with a smile. The still slightly ill Photos picked up his own fork and began eating.

"Indeed.", the other replied as he clapped his nippers into one. "Let us feast."

With that, Folizi took a fork and also began to feast.

As the meal went on and the two exchanged words while savoring each dish, the pair learned more about each other's interesting cuisine and the myriad etiquette which accompanied them respectively.

If only they knew, right then and there, what would inevitably come to transpire...
