I liked the gore showers.

Yah, they had someone explode in literally every other scene.

Movie was great but the prawn were a bit weird. *Spoilers* Near the start of the movie when he Security forces are coming in we see a Prawn basically kick a Soldier in half. We also see one take out three soldiers including our main character. Yet Chris is easily held down by the Commanders one leg? Seemed a bit weird...unless Chris just didnt eat his vegetables. *End Spoilers*

This was one of the greatest motion pictures I have ever seen. It's right up there with Dr. Strangelove, The Dark Knight, and The Princess Bride. I absolutely loved the messages, the story, the characters, and Wikus' accent. "We're not the fookin' same!" Hilarious. I thought that Sharlto Copley did a great job, and I was surprised not to see Ben Burtt in the ending credits. The aliens sound a lot like Poggle the Lesser.
I came, I saw, I went back to bed.

Also, SPOILERS Chris wasn't the violent type

I saw the movie on Tuesday, and it's definitely one of the best I've seen this year, alongside Watchmen and Moon. A hardcore sci-fi film, the action and the special effects were good, but the acting blew me away. The whole thing just felt real. I recommend it.

...and IT'S NOT THE FOOKIN' SAME as other sci-fi flicks! So good I'm abandoning all my grammar skills! I just...well...it's...
...the GREATEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!
I....I mean DAMN!

Gah!

Amazing movie! :O

I liked how the main character is whiny and unlikable in the beginning, and once he finally starts turning, he becomes a much deeper character.

Also that one lightning gun made people explode. I'm surprised he coped with all of the people that were exploding.

The aliens looked so realistic!
