io9 likes District 9.

But then again, their website is plastered with District 9 advertisements so...
Yeah, [Kishmond] came back from Africa, but the ponies have him now.

its sorta weird for a alien race who is far far more advanced than us to just take bull**** from us and sit in a corner...

they would probably treat us like flies and not even consider such a silly thing...if they even keep us alive >.>

...guess they are just that nice

edit: oh wait they go bat**** insane in the 2nd trailer...guess they arnt

also they are refugee aliens. They have the tech but not the resources or numbers by the looks of it.

Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

Just got back from seeing this today, great movie!
Definately a must watch.
*possible spoilers*
The ending was both good and bad, it both left it at a cliffhanger and offered some closure at the same time, leaving the true ending up to the audience. Thats not a bad thing though, I liked the ending albeit slighty iratating.

well the ending wasn't a cliff hanger (we see what happens to do the dude, and what a wee bit of  happens to the aliens still on earth) but yes, it does have some closure issues.

but im hoping that will be covered in District 10 :P
