CAN IT BE?!
SNOW?!
in this video it shows of some snow at 1:24.
it was also shown at 2:52.
The ground being white is not the same as snow.

i am glad to hear there will be multi-planet quests, and from that interview, it seems you can give creatures dialogue :D
*shoots Skyward in the knees*

True on the first one, but look again at the second one, there is a kind of 'snowfall' effect. It looks similar to the dust or leaf effect.

As far as multi-planet quests, we can make some epic adventures out of that. Having branching options might be asking too much of it however.

That snow effect part reminded me of Star Wars.

You'll never know why.

Same thing as well, although it was the structures along with the ice landscape that reminded me of Hoth.

Since we can actually sculpt our planets to infinity, it should be (relatively) easy to reconstruct more realistic planets. Hopefully they have done away with some of the terraforming and scuplting related glitches.

lol Grazony.

Time to try and anti-hype you all by being negative:

To be honest it looks like the creature game with just a bunch of buildings thrown around in the background.

I mean come on, in the video the only thing that they went BERSERK on was that you had a jet pack while on the surface, wow great, fire spewing off a piece of metal on my back, exhilarating...
The power of purple! The Hundred Years War, which was won by the French started on the year of 1337.

*joins in*

And look how awfully shallow those missions are. Maybe you're just limited to yes or no answers. The editor for it must be so watered down you can't even place more than 10 buildings on a planet. What's worse is that they don't do anything but sit there and look pretty. And all the enemies probably have a really lame AI. And if it's on hard they're really cheap and overpowered. And you probably have to spend your time earning all those power ups doing repetitive and monotonous things. Just like finding parts in creature stage.

Well, tell me how this turns out. This is how I see it: The missions editor will be either very flexible and able to do detailed things, which will be very complex and thus NOT easy to pick up and do and thus seem more like work. Or it will be too easy and thus overly simplistic and thus too limited to do anything interesting.

If its too hard, most thing out there will be crap. If it is too easy, all of it will be. Will they strike the right balance? I dunno, that's gotta be tricky and right now my faith in their ability to do that is insufficient to make me very hopeful.

Even if it's semi-hard, a tutorial will pop up sooner or later.

Well you see, hard doesn't really describe whether it's a challenging and addicting kind of hard or an annoying turn offy hard.
