Wow, well this movie was great.
I mean it was darker then the last one, is about 2.5 hours, and was written by an actual British group. So it has real British slang in it(which surprisingly helps).

The whole You Know Who scene at the end, was just plain wicked. And the Quiditch World Cup showed off the Irish quite nicely, which was cool.(looks down at his Ireland hoodie) But overall, I thought this was just as good if not better then the last one.

I would write a more in depth review, but after yesterday's 14-hour shift, follwed by a midnight premier, followed icy roads(meaning slow traffic), having to park 2 blocks away from my apartment, and then coming here this early and working another day...I guess you could say I'm a little worn out.

Anyway, definitely go see it. Especially great on the big screen. I saw it on an IMAX-sized screen, but just see it in theaters instead of waiting for it on DVD.

Wow, this makes me realize how long it's been since I was an active user here.

I quit reading after the 4th book and haven't gotten around so seeing any of the movies... saw part of the first one on tv a while ago, and it looked WAY too childish.

So... Is it worth it?

The first 2 movies are childish, but the 3rd and now the 4th are darker and better. I own the 3rd but I will probably never own the first 2.

I thought it was a good movie. Some girls at my school who worshipped it for the month before it came out didn't like it because they were disappointed.

I saw it today. It was very good, very dark yet humorous too. The guy who plays Ron really did a good job with his facial expressions and acting in this movie... imo. I would agree its one of the better ones in the series.

Ron's facial expressions consist of worried, confused, and any mix thereof. That's an easy role.

I thought it was good but I think the new guy who plays Dumbledore did a horrible job.  It took me right out of the movie when he started talking.  On the other hand I think they did a great job with Voldermort.

I pretty much like the film for the most part. Nice and action-y with good special effects and fairly decent acting.
But what amazes me is not the film, but everybody here. There are people here who actually like the third movie! I never thought I would find anyone who would actually like the film. I loved it, but everyone seems to hate it. :(
