the robot with a cat skull for a head? hunting them down and destroying them by sucking out their life.

EDIT:

I watched the trailer about ten times, and the rock-music fits: its showing the most demented machines ever (the flying one with a blades for a face is my favorite) with slicers and needles and flames and explosions. it fits.

Been looking forward to seeing this today.  I'll love anything that involves Tim Burton, pretty much.

Although I never saw Coralline.

I'm pretty sure Tim Burton had no hand in Coraline.

YES!
Tim Burton was hired as the executive producer of "Coraline." All of the people are saying no, but if you look at the end credits near producer it will say 'Tim Burton.' He produced Nightmare Before Christmas, too. Henry selick DIRECTED both, but Tim Burton PRODUCED the movies, which means he helped with the screenplay, and directed bits & parts of the movie.

He had just as much a role in it as he did in Nightmare Before Christmas.

I don't know how to feel about 9 now. Before, I was greatly hyped for it, but now It's just sort of died down. I don't trust if the film's going to be good or now.
So, who's seen the film yet? Is it good, or no? Worth the hype?

It's a good movie.  Not amazing, but a good solid movie nonetheless.  The rubits are cool.  It gets a bit wierd at the end though in my opinion, and some things seemed a bit rushed.

Obviously UFO, you haven't snuck into Micheal Bay's house and stolen his version of Citizen Kane. Giant radioactive exploding ninjas are the least silliest parts.

That's what I thought. Guess like the only way I'll ever find out for sure is to watch the film myself...

Yeah, it's not great.
Pretty dull, uninspiring. Nothing really fresh about it, not to mention it's the same mini-plot re-used about 3 times. And the end was ambiguous and unsatisfying.

The robot monsters were cool though.
Yeah, [Kishmond] came back from Africa, but the ponies have him now.

It was a good movie with a nice moral theme through all of it.

I enjoyed it alot.

So basically.. you could say it was the matrix but the machines in the end just died all of the sudden. That is.. untill nine comes along.
