Dragon Cave and Valenth
« on: November 22, 2008, 04:08:14 pm »
Hey people! It seems Dragon Cave has spread over spore forums like a disease and i like to start a topic about it. I seen some members here use it like me.

The point of Dragon Cave is to adopt a dragon egg or steal it and then take care of them and hatch them.

Click on mine down there to take care of mine. And other members show us yours and we will click on yours too!

Oh, these things are back. I remember a sig-egg fad sweeping the forums a while ago.

Summoner and Grangan, I'm afraid you're going to have to remove some things from your sigs if you want to keep the eggs. The height limit for signitures is 125 pixels. You're both over the limit.

Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

How would I make the images go horizontal instead of vertical?

No, it's because they are new.

You'll all get bored of them in short order.

Particularly when the eggs die off because you have so many people are disinclined to be clicking them all.

Having to have other people click on the egg to make it hatch? Or else it will die? My, what a clever and underhanded way to increase the hit count for the site that makes it so they can net more advertising money. Pay by the click!

Thats all this is. I refuse to play that game!

Edit: although there does not seem to be advertisements on the pages. Or perhaps that is because I have firefox. either way, I still don't like it  :P

Well, clicking the eggs isn't the only way to hatch them. Just looking at a page with a picture of the egg will count towards hatching it. You don't necessarily need any clicks to hatch an egg.

So, even by looking at this page you're "playing" the game, if that is how you wish to define it.

There is a small advertisement in the end of every page, btw, very similar to the ones we have on our forum.

What's the big fuss, anyway. They're just pictures of eggs. You may click them or ignore them as you wish.
