They aren't sith. They were the Emporer's council or something like that. Could you imagine those old guys killing Jedi? Ha!

And yeah, the red guys are just Imperial Guards. They were in Palpatine's quarters in the prequel movies too.

They are the Red Guard, the Republic have some like them called the Blue Guard and they have been in action once. In the Clone Wars Cartoon where palbatin (sp?) is kidnapped and a bunch of them and clone troppers get their ass handed to them by general Gevious.

FACE: Not again! Quickly Palm, come to me!

yeah, well i wouldn't believe palpatine could pwn jedi either, especially after the transformation.  it kinda sucked when he nearly lost to samuel muther****ing jackson after tearing through the other three.

I think it would have been a different fight if Jackson hadnt specifically said he didnt want to be "killed off like some punk"

No he wasn't some punk...just a whiny little baby.
The Clone Wars cartoon shows Mace being ultra hardcore. And then the movies and side stories do the same...but his fight with Palpatine sucked. The one in the Episode III game would've been a lot better.

yeah, he was like "I'm gonna kill him! I'm gonna do it!! (long awkward pause)" and it was really out of charactor for mace and samuel muther****ing jackson.

The whole movie seemed to be themed around body-parts being cut off.
Dooku's hands and head, Mace's hand, Anakin's...everything.

Its a series tradition: darth maul cut in half, lukes arm chopped off, Luke chops the arms off that snow thing...

What's the point of a lightsaber without any slice-and-dice?

I dunno... it would be great for trimming hedges, or you could use it to cut down trees. the lightsaber is the ultimate gardening tool.
