Macross Frontier
« on: October 08, 2008, 09:33:23 pm »
Macross Frontier is a direct sequel to the first Macross series and Macross 7 and follows the lives of Alto Saotome, Ranka Lee and a pop idol named Sheryl Nome on board the Macross Frontier colonization fleet. After the war against the Zentradi, humanity has spread across the galaxy in order to ensure their survival. The Macross Frontier fleet is part of the effort to spread and maintain the culture of humanity.

I'm sure, the Macross fans here at GS would really like this show. It really improves the space opera aspect of the previous installments and has pretty good fight scenes, especially to the end in case you're wondering. By far the best installment in the series. I like it more than Gundam: SEED, actually.

I like the show. It is definitely very reminiscent of the first Macross (which truthfully, I only know as Robotech). I just today realized that I never watched Episode 25 yet. -_-' Though I might have and just forgotten. It is a really good anime, but like most Dramas/Action shows/anime I watch anymore. It's somewhat predictable. They telegraphed nearly everything that they were going to do in the first 8 episodes. Though the way the fractions divided was a slight twist.
