Variables

     Ever heard of "Transformers" or "Variable Fighters (read: Macross)?" Yeah, that's the basic idea here. Contestants must post a vehicle with two or more transformations. Detachable body sections, foldaway arms and hammerspace laser turrets, all is fair in making variable vehicles. That is, except for the fact that you have to make it so that you can explain just how it works.

     Here is an excellent example of a variable vehicle:

Carriers

     It can be anything, as long as it performs the most basic function of any carrier: Carry something. You can even go all out and make a vehicle that can carry a vehicle that can carry a vehicle that can carry a vehicle that can carry a vehicle that can carry a vehicle that can carry a vehicle that can carry a vehicle that can carry a vehicle that can carry a vehicle that can carry a vehicle that can carry another vehicle. That is, if you really want to.

     Extra multiball points for showing us a picture of what it actually carries.

A variable is something that can shift or transform into something else. Well sort of. In military terms, a variable sweep wing aircraft is an aircraft that can change it's wingspan, like the F-14 Tomcat. In the Robotech Universe (and in Sci-Fi in general) a variable is something that can change it's shape, role, and equipment. It basically has different states. In the Macross/Robotech Universe there is the Fighter, Guardian, and the Humanoid transformations. A V-Tech (Variable Tech) fighter plane would transform into a the two-legged hybrid Fighter/Walker known as a Guardian Mode, from guardian it could further change into a fully Humanoid Mode which was suited for urban and ship-to-ship battles.

Geological formations

     Canyons, mountains, even volcanoes! You must make a geological formation that is as believable or as awesome as possible.

     The Water Vehicle Editor will serve you well on this one.
