I don't know if it's a glitch or a feature, but sometimes ESC will skip the opening title movie (after the big bang), and other times not.  Shrug.

It's the same way with me. Anyway, the cutscene is quick.

Same here. If I have a program running on a webbrowser at the same time the game is running it doesn't except the esc command. No biggy.

Skipping the beginning scene I believe has something to do with whether or not you played SPORE since turning on the computer. So maybe you only have to watch it once then quit load again and you can skip after the bang.(I think)

Kenobro, I thought that too.  But I've had it not skip it three times in a row, and then skip it after a fresh reboot.  Yeah, it's not a biggy, but I think it started going a bit wonky with the patch.

You can only skip the intro when you hit ESC after the EA logo explodes. When you hit ESC before it, you can't skip the intro entirely.

People know that.

Since the path people have been unable to do it constantly.

Wow. What does that look like if you zoom down to ground view?

While recreating the blind snake, I encountered this just today:

That's a serious problem.

I seem to get this bug in all stages of the game (except cell). It is very annoying cause they flicker too.

Outdated drivers perhaps? Graphic card overheating? I'm having the same problem with Paraworld (rts) and people said it had to do with either my graphic card overheating/outdated or outdated drivers.

Update all you can that's free,  Hydro.

Ichthyostega,  I haven't seen that before.  Try loading and re-loading the editor(save and quit)

It happened to me, too. Just quit Spore and open it again.

A weird glitch happened. Most of my creatures were white squares, and when I tried to edit them, it took me to the normal blank creature editor. Luckily they're still on the online Sporepedia AND they're backed up in another folder.

I've had that problem a few times. At least it doesn't badly affect your gameplay. I also had one where the test drive for the tribal outfitter was completely blank, like the transparency background. It's really more of an annoyance, but still a glitch.
