I find the outfit editors for Tribe/City/Space to be quite fun. Its one thing to design the creature, its another to dress them up. I'm surprised how 'good' most of the stuff looks on creatures. The space mask with the filter fits my Rasslan's tail eyes creepily well.

The fact that once you hit City/Space, the outfits have no in-game effect makes them even more fun, as you are dressing your creations for looks, rather than patchworking fugly stat bonuses.

Hey, if you don't want to dress up your creatures, then your creature belongs to a civilization of nudists... no problem there!  ;D

The only thing I don't like about the tribe & civ dress-up is there aren't enough choices! And WAY too many of the choices are appropriate only for star-trek style humanoid aliens. How about robes? Helmets? Space suits (bubble head-type)? I think "5th element"-type wackiness, or even Star Wars cantina-esque?

And while it's crazy to complain about it, it does kinda bother me that EVERYONE is wearing the same thing. Even in China, people where different colored clothing, etc... maybe that's wanting too much?  ;D

Why not procedural random variations on chosen clothing, even just color variations would give the impression of a cosmopolitan society vs a  society of clones...

A vehicle editor-style paint system would be nice.

I kinda miss my creatures' pitch black robes. :(

Though, I do like how they currently look like on their white robes. :)

But still...
