Yeah that is 18A in Canada too.  Wierd since just about for every R rated movie in the USA, Canda's rating is 14A.  O well more movies for me ;)

Pretty much if you liked the first one, you'll like this one.  Blood, gore and not to much new.  I'd recommend Texas Chainsaw Massacre instead, if this is the sort of thing you're looking for.

Just watch Cannibal Holofaust or any of those other snuff-esque films.

is it intentionally called holofaust? or is that a epic typo.

not a reference to selling your soul to the devil and then regretting it then.

I *ahem* SAW it a week or so ago and I thought it was awesome.  Not as good as the first one, of course, but it still had a good amount to like.  The plot twist in it was pretty cool and the pacing of the movie in general was quite good.  Some areas of great suspense and just like in the original you watch almost the entire thing with a sense of dread as to what's going to happen next, all leading up to a particularly disturbing sequence.  What was done was pretty clever, however I'm still trying to sort out the end and determine if I like what happens...  It can be seen as basically the same formula as the first Saw movie but obviously had a great deal of differences like characters, events and circumstances.  If anything, it was a great deal more elaborate than the first in the plot and much more "active", as there's a great deal more to it than primarily flashbacks had by 2 guys chained in a room now that they have the back story out of the way.  There was noticeably more gore in this movie and it was a good deal more graphic, but thankfully it still left a good amount up to the imagination (my favorite part about the first).  I thought it was awesome, I'll certainly get it in a long while when they release the uncut version of that as well (really glad I held off on getting the first one so I could get that uncut).  Hope my basic review helped. :)
