Some of us also created the fictional portrayal of the "fanatical creationist who tries to ban everything about evolution".

Sheeeeeet I collapse the wave function at least twice a day.

-I'm going to wager that other than this blog and 55 kids there isn't going to be too much validation in this man's life. And in those last precious seconds between his body dying and his brain, slowly losing oxygen, coming to the awareness that's it's soon to follow into the great nothingness that is non-existence he is going to realize what a more productive life he could have led, right before the Karma truck collides.

You know your being as much of a extremist here as he is? In fact, id say yours is worse, hes being a idiot and your saying that because of a random fool like this more then half of the people who inhabit this planet should be locked up? Something is seriously wrong with you (or youre one of those trolls, in that case: nice trolling, you got me there).

And religious extremists who belive in crazy things are not a problem? Those kinds of people usually get funny ideas and soon you may start hearing about creationists who starts blowing up libraries or NASA because it does not fit into their world view and "they are playing god" :P

Right wing christians who think that the word of god go above everything else and Talibans = The same kind of people, they have proved it by committing acts of terrorism against abortion clinics in the Us. I have observed these kind of people for years blowing up buildings and murdering thousands of people - all in the name of their cause for a "better world" (We have the same kind of intolerant violent people where i live, we call them Nazis and Commies!).

They also appear in Spore, under the name of "Grox"... and i know a way of dealing with them because i am tired of the same "we are uberer/holier than thou" bull**** over and over.

Wow how pathetic is this? :D

I was expecting a large community site the likes of GS or something.
Would have been much more amusing really, though I got a descent chuckle out of this tid bit of info.
I heard about it in another forum actually but didn't know there was a thread for it here.

Kid: Oh wow I'm being deflowered by a grown woman!
Mother: By the way I'm your mother
Kid: OH GOD NO

EDIT: That's where it becomes rape if you were wondering.

This is obviously satire. That said, what's shown in Spore isn't really evolution as much as it is intelligent selection. A real evolution game would take out the editor and just have you controlling a random mutant every now and then, with the progress of the game dependent on the mutant reproducing.

Almost as bad as SDF. Seriously, what is he trying to accomplish? Ban SPORE from the face of the Earth? Have fun with that.

I'm not completely sure this is even REAL. It immediately struck me as fake. Parody.

Either way, if they don't believe in evolution, then they don't have to play the game, or can play it for what it is, a work of FICTION. I don't need to believe in zombies to play Dead Rising, after all.

Still ... it smells fake to me. Don't trust it.

Let's make sure this doesn't turn into a religious debate and stick to the topic at hand. This thread already got reported once.

Carry on.

Godhatessweden.com is a totally serious site...so why not this one?  :P  If it is satire, it is subtle, and I applaud it!

I thought it was hilarious, possibley for all the wrong reasons. I spit tea, laughing, all over my keyboard when I got to the bit about Jack Thompson, though. Kudos for that.
