What actions lead to what traits.
« on: September 09, 2008, 02:46:49 pm »
Both a guide and a question. I would like to share the traits I have found, and also ask what combination of actions produces the other traits.

I have gotten the following traits:

Trader:
Omnivore
Adaptive
Industrious
Economic

Shaman
Herbivore
Peaceful
Friendly
Religious

Wanderer
(started new space game from main menu)

Bard (This was tough, had to change history row with each stage)
Omnivore
Aggresive
Friendly
Economic

I'm curious to see if anyone else has 'naturally' gotten the other talents, and what categories you were in prior to get that trait.

I don't find it that hard to do. You just have to go all out in every stage. Be an Omnivore in Cell, go Social in Creature, kill them all in Tribe, capture an Economic City and use that city as you're main city from then on.

Still I'd like to know more about these ranks and what their specialties are... I suppose I COULD read the manual but *shrugs*.. :-p

The manual tells you what effect they give you, but not how specifically to earn them (other than wanderer).

I know... but that's what I meant... I could read the manual to see their effect but *shrugs* :-p I'd rather have pictures and videos depicting the effects and how they work specifically. For example the Knight's Mini-U power summons a miniature you, but (and I've not tested this thoroughly) it seems to limit itself to the planet you summoned it on. It didn't seem to want to follow me any further than that. I'll have to check again though.. it could of just been because I was in combat lost it without noticing.

I'm more curious to know what history leads to what trait. If you have a trait with an effect you are going for, it'd be useful to know how to get that trait for space right off the bat.

- Military

Warrior:
