Not biased toward hardcore gamers or fanboys, just an honest review.

That's definitely a great review, thanks for the link Legion.  :)

I've not got the game yet, but I'm getting worried abot the space phase. It's the biggest phase you'll be spending most of your time in but right now it seems, from what i've read, that any 'freedom' to go out and explore and collect quietly as I want to is hampered by a bunch of interstellar idiots who'll pounce on you as soon as you leave your system.

Why must the galaxy contain such bullies?  >:(

Only trouble is, they're Whose Line Is It Anyway points, which are infamously not worth anything.

I think the space stage would benefit from an option to select the distance rival empires start like most other strategy space games this would keep everyone happy. Close for the militaristic types and far for the explorer/discovery type.
