Here are some more from tonight's space travelling. I was getting closer to the centre when I accidently hit the 'return ticket'. Haha.

And I discovered a planet covered in tribes of Polar Bears! I intended them to be only white when I made them. Didn't realize they would be sporting nice flashy colours.

I was going to ask the same thing! I've never seen a habitable world around a binary star!

I did not think binarys were in game...and in fairness I see no planets around it.

Here are a couple I found:

A Gas Giant

And a Binary Star White and Yellow. The blue one is a planet.

[edit]

Also found a UFO crash site in Creature stage:

Playing the cell stage without eyes:

and later the creature stage

I get it tomorrow morning and I want all the shots I can get!

Of course nothing super spoiler-rific! ;)

By the way, are you all taking shots from the game's screen capture itself or a 3rd party program?  Spore does allow you to take screens right?

What about video?

Thanks...oh and...MORE!! :D

I've got one, It's Big Blue on Accesory Yellow. I think there's.. 2 or so planets on them. I stole it from some other empire I killed. It's quite cool I must say.

According to Caryl Shaw (Lucky)... The C is Screenshots. V is Video Capture.

Cool looking Binary star systems.

Does anybody know whether you can do anything to asteroid belts?

Using the C and V buttons in game doesn't capture the interface.
I use a 3rd party program called Fraps to capture shots with the interface included.

Here's a screenshot I took by pressing C.
It shows my ship orbiting a wormhole in space.

Here's another space screenshot. I took this one with Fraps.
It shows the systems owned by the different empires in my local neighbourhood.

I also have a video of going through the wormhole which I'm in the process of uploading to YouTube right now.
