Myself i CAN connect to the reg server, but the damn server says "wrong password" for my account :P

And before someone says something really stupid and i have to buy an airline ticket and a baseball bat, yes - it is the correct password since i jotted it down in a text file and copy pasted for both the CC and Spore.

It would be better if they'd at least tell us what the problem is. I don't need them telling me that there are problems, I can see that myself.

Still doesn't work... The problem seems to be only on the Galactic Edition, from what I've read on the EA Forums.

Now it says "The code for this installation is invalid and cannot be linked to your account".

Seriously, what the hell? I BOUGHT this thing, how can the code be invalid? <_<

EDIT: Great, now the server considers me a "Pirate", thanks a lot EA -_-

- The server uses a whitelist, if you're not on the whitelist (can't connect), PM me your minecraft name.

Which Ironically wouldn't have happened if you'd downloaded the pirated version :P
*lol* I'm sorry, I'm not advocating piracy at all, I just think the sittuation is ironic enough to be funny ^^
As soon as I get home tonight and install my GalEd I picked up wthis morning I will be just as flipping frustrated as you, if it still doesn't work >_<

It looks like Mac users get the "Unable to connect to licensing server" error and PC users get the "Invalid logon" or "cannot be linked" error. But the PC users get to play it and we Mac users don't :'(

Assuming we are playing the real "game".

The reason i am upset about is the suspicion that i am not playing the correct game, i.e. they made it harder for people that havent registered their game. I am playing on easy and are experiencing pirate raids every 10-15 minutes (guessing it could be symbolic), but since i am a paying customer i do not want to put up with such crap - if that is indeed what they are doing - so, i want the damn activation servers working to see if it remains that way.

The other phases in the game plays without any problems, at times you can even go AFK in the creature game / Civ game without worrying, it is just the spacephase that is annoying on Easy (which made me suspect that there are more to it than meets the eye).

I just got confirmation from EA support that this is really the same issue as the login problems on PC. I actually got a reply in under an hour.
