Here we go...

We're talking about an x-pack before the games even released.

The Sims 2 all over again.

We don't even have a release date for the orginal game, why are we talking about x-packs?

because Ea has a reputation for them so we can be ssured they will come.  You also can't expect everything to be released in a single game...  There are always improvements or fleshing out areas that are under developed... perhaps even (gasp) based on player demand.

Okay, now you're just being silly. After Spore 2 is Spore Alpha. Three is strictly off-limits.

I don't think we're thinking to far. I'm thinking of myself as shuffling what probably won't be in the main game, but we be demanded soon enough.
Mummy, why am I short and cuboid shaped? Is it a result of millions of years of evolution which have taught us that this is the best shape for survival.
No Timmy, its so our god Scipion can stuff us into tanks easily. Now go to sleep, for tommorow we must go and hunt pornography-on-legs

There was a Street Fighter 3. It had all new character with the exception of Ryu and Ken. I personally liked it, but it wasn't well recieved.

Speaking of avatars, what's the possibility of a 'supercreature' as a representation of you leading your creations and fighting with other Gods over territory in an expansion?

;D I know, I know.

I think the idea of there being any god but you would really play against the feel of the game.

You obviously entirely missed the Black and White reference there...
